Myer Announce a 5.3% Increase in Profits
Despite all the negative commentary about the financial downturn, it's still really easy to find good news stories. It seems that many of the big Australian retailers aren't suffering as much as predicted:
Myer has just released its half yearly results for the period ending January 2009 and it seems the company has handled the tough economic environment effectively, with a net profit increase of 5.3 per cent to $83 million for the period.
